Completely Unrelated to the State of Arizona...

Phoenix is one of the bands on the bill for day one of the Virgin Festival on the Toronto Islands. With their new album, It's Never Been Like That, the band abandons their electronic sound. An offering packed with pop-tune after pop-tune, it definitely shows that these guys are capable of "rocking out" - if only just a little. I'm very interested to see how they'll be live... Day one is September 9th, join me there for one hell of a time. Also join me in boycotting this guy from Virgin's marketing department... he's a complete waste of space. Fuck him, and his arrogant attitude (sorry - long story)...
